If you run NimbleX from the HDD or USB you can add extend the functionality by adding modules. Modules are software packages compressed in a special way.

To use them you'll just have to double-click them in KDE, or use the uselivemod command. If you want to have them loaded automatically at every boot, just copy them in the modules directory.

Maybe you want to check out a short table with the most important Linux equivalents for various Windows software.

These only work with NimbleX 2008. Don't try to use them for 2007 or sub100 because they will not work!
